High Power Computing - The See3D Render Farm

At See3D we quickly understood the need for high power computing to create our animations. Animations are still images played in rapid succussion - usually 25 per second. Each image is likely to take several minutes or more to produce. This means that if only a single computer is used, a twenty minute production could easily take more than a month just to produce the still images ready for sequencing and editing. This is in addition to the time required for creating the storyboards, props, lighting, camera tracks, character animation, editing, sequencing, sound production and delivery media production.

To meet this challenge, See3D created our cutting edge bespoke 250 node render farm. Our solution enables us to render 250 images simultaneously resulting in massively reduced production times, much greater flexibilty and responsiveness. This allows us the freedom to try out new techniques, render very high definition footage and ultimately better meet our customers needs.

Super High Definition 3D Screening Room & Hemispherium

Our fully equipped high definition, 3D theatre with 5.1 surround sound is ideal for editorial reviews, screenings and presentations. We can comfortably seat twenty people in air conditioned cinematic comfort. We also have a state of the art hemispherium theatre allowing planetarium style projection.

Large Media Software Suite & Support

We produce animations for TV, film, websites and presentations. In order to produce content that can be distributed across these multiple channels we have invested our expertise in a comprehensive range of software, some of which is listed here:-
